I hope this email finds you safe and well in these very difficult times. I understand that many of you who regularly attend our event are on the front lines of this public health emergency and I'd like to thank you so much for what you do, not just in the past couple weeks but for the incredible work you do on a regular basis to treat and care for brain injury patients.
I'd like to provide you with a brief update on where we are in regards to our 10th Annual Traumatic Brain Injury Conference, which is scheduled for June 1-2 in the Washington, DC Metro area. As of now, we have NOT yet cancelled or changed dates for this event. Given how much has transpired in just the past couple of weeks, it's very difficult to know where things will stand in regards to travel and public gatherings more than two months from now. I hope to have additional details regarding the event in the near future.
There is a good chance that this event will either be moved to a different date or revised so that we can carry on as a VIRTUAL event. If we choose the latter, all registered attendees will be given the option to either cancel and be issued a FULL refund, or convert their registration to virtual attendance and be issued a partial refund for the difference in registration price. We will still be offering Continuing Medical Education Credits for this event whether it's in-person or virtual.
We hope to have some resolution in the coming weeks and will share with you as soon as possible our plans for this event.
